In the context of the PVGnosis project, the Center for Research and Technologies Hellas (CERTH) - Information Technologies Institute (ITI) took part in the 12th International Conference & Exhibition on Green Flexible Printed Electronics Industry (ICEFPE22) and AGRIVOLTAICS 2022 Conference. This event took place on October 10th and 12th at the Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens. At the conference, we showcased our innovative work on a "Deep Convolutional Neural Network Framework." This framework is designed for automated inspections and the predictive maintenance of PV plants using thermal UAV images. Our aim is to improve the upkeep and performance of PV plants, aligning with the European Union's ambitious goal: to generate 30% of its energy from renewables by 2030. Participating in conferences like AGRIVOLTAICS 2022 allows us to share knowledge and work together towards a sustainable future in both energy and agriculture.
